When James Cameron was looking for ideas for the alien world of "Pandora" featured in Avatar, he couldn't take his gaze away from these amazing finger-like projections. Finally, he included these columns in his film, giving rise to the term "Avatar Mountains" for the mountains of Wulingyuan.

The Na pali Coast, which stretches for 17 miles along Kauai's North Shore, is a sacred site marked by outstanding natural emerald-color cliffs with razor-sharp ridges stand above the Pacific Ocean, presenting stunning beaches and waterfalls that cascade to the verdant valley bottom.

Reynisfjara is a black sand beach formed naturally by volcanic activity in the vicinity. It is unique because of additional amazing qualities that are not found anyplace else.
Several Game of Thrones episodes were filmed on Black Sand Beach. Look up the photographs so you can get the same shots (this time with you in the photo). The Dragon Glass cave was most famously a cavern found within the cliff.

The falls are a tributary of Venezuela's Orinoco River system Carrao River. Angel Falls, one of the world's most spectacular natural wonders, is a truly breathtaking scene.

This island is famous for its incredible "Sea of Stars," where the seas sparkle bright blue at night. The intense blue glow was produced by local plankton reacting with oxygen in the seawater to produce a light brighter than the Milky Way. The best time to witness this phenomenon is December.
